Recipe # 2

Ingredients:

1 cup of bread cubes.
pound of cooked and shredded crab meat.
1 teaspoon of french mustard.
2 small eggs.
tablespoon of worcestershire sauce.
teaspoon of pepper.
teaspoon of seasoning or salt.

Method of cooking: Once again, combine all the ingredients and form small cakes. Then take a heavy skillet and saute the crab cakes in butter. Fry both sides as long as they turn brown on both the sides. This might take around 7-8 minutes. Serve them while they are still hot.

Recipe # 3

Ingredients:
1 pound of cooked crab meat.
1 teaspoon of salt.
1 beaten egg.
cup of chopped parsley.
teaspoon of pepper.
cup of mayonnaise.
teaspoon of dry mustard.
1 cup of bread crumbs.
6 tablespoons of butter.
teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.

Method of cooking:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except the bread crumbs and the butter. Shape the mixture in small cakes, using 1/3 to cup for each cake. Then coat the cakes with bread crumbs. Place the cakes on a plate and freeze them for two hours. Now melt the butter in a 10 skillet. Fry the crab cakes in butter until they turn golden on both the sides. Once done, the crab cakes are ready to be served.

Ingredients required are as under:

5 ounce fresh or frozen lobster tails - 4
One teaspoon lemon peel (finely shredded)
Butter - 1/3 cup
snipped and fresh chives - 2 tablespoon

Follow the steps and prepare the lobster tails with chive and butter :

If you find that the lobster is frostbitten , it should be thawed first. Then the lobster tails need to be washed and dried using napkins made of paper. The next step is to cut the tails lengthwise from the center of the hard top shells and meat, and not through the bottom of the shells. Now, press apart the two halves of the shell of lobster tails with fingers.

To prepare sauce, heat and melt the butter in a pan. Take the pan away from heat and add some chive and peel of lemon and stir it nicely. Now, you can keep the remaining sauce aside once you remove two tablespoons of the sauce.

The third step is to cover the oven of the grill of the gas and heat it. Now you can reduce the heat of the grill to medium.

Brush a portion of the two tablespoons sauce over the meat of lobster and then placed on the gas grill directly over heat. Mask it with a lid and grill for about six minutes. Now turn lobster and brush the remaining two tablespoons sauce on it. Then cover it again and grill for another six to eight minutes, till the lobster meat turns opaque.

Heat the condiment that is kept aside and stir it occasionally. Serve the lobster tails with the sauce as dipping.


Crab Cake is one more popular seafood recipe which you can prepare when invitees plan to come to your place and you do not have much time in hand.

The constituents that are used to prepare Crab Cake have been mentioned as under:

Crab meat of one pound
2 tablespoon of mayonnaise
Eight saltine crackers
1 teaspoon of mustard
beaten egg - 1

How to prepare:

This is quick and easy recipe for Apple Muffins. Recipe is adapted from grandmother’s dairy-free apple cake, often served for dessert on Friday nights. The apples are first macerated in sugar and oil. The result is an incredibly moist batter and one well suited to muffins. One warning: the muffins don’t brown, so bake them only until a toothpick or cake tester comes out almost clean. Follow the directions very carefully:


QUICK AND EASY APPLE MUFFIN RECIPE


INGREDIENTS


3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1 cup sugar
½ cup canola or vegetable oil
Nonstick spray or paper muffin cups
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
½ cup milk (whole, low-fat, or nonfat)
1 large egg, lightly beaten, at room temperature

DIRECTIONS :


Toss the diced apples with the sugar in a medium bowl. Pour the oil over the top, stir well, and set aside at room temperature for 45 minutes.
Position the rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 400°F. To prepare the muffin tins, spray the indentations and the rims around them with nonstick spray, or line the indentations with paper muffin cups. If using silicon muffin tins, spray as directed, then place them on a baking sheet.
Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a second medium bowl until uniform. Set aside.
Using a wooden spoon, stir the milk and egg into the apple mixture until smooth. Then stir in the prepared flour mixture until moistened.
Fill the prepared tins three-quarters full. Use additional greased tins or small, oven safe, greased ramekins for any leftover batter, or reserve the batter for a second baking. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the muffins have rounded, slightly cracked tops. A toothpick inserted in the center of one muffin should come out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
Set the pan on a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes. Gently rock the muffins back and forth to release them from the tins. Remove them from the pan and cool them for 5 minutes more on the rack before serving. If storing or freezing the muffins, cool them completely before sealing in an airtight container or freezer-safe plastic bags. The muffins will stay fresh for up to 48 hours at room temperature or up to 2 months in the freezer.

COFFEE CAKE MUFFINS


1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar, divided
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup melted butter


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12-cup muffin pan; set aside.


In a medium bowl, mix the flour, 1/2 cup of the sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.

Beat egg and milk together in a small bowl. Beat the softened butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and egg mixture alternately to the butter, mixing with a wooden spoon after each addition. Do not over mix! Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin pan, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Mix the remaining sugar and the cinnamon in a small bowl. Remove the muffins from the pan and dip the muffin tops into the melted butter then into the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place right side up on a wire rack. May be cooled or served warm.

In this article i wil show you how to prepare Chocolate Cream Pie recipe. We use a lot of chocolate here, so much that the filling tastes like chocolate mousse. The whipped cream topping is stabilized by cornstarch and thus is slightly thicker, a better foil to the rich filling. Makes one 9-inch pie. Ingredients and easy directions:


QUICK CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE RECIPE


INGREDIENTS:


3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
4 ounces semisweet chocolate, 3 ounces of it chopped and 1 ounce reserved
3 large egg yolks, at room temperature
½ teaspoon salt
2 ½ cups milk (regular, low-fat, or fat-free)
1 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
Short Crust, Walnut Crust or Almond Crust, lined into a 9-inch pie plate and pre baked
1 ½ cups heavy cream

DIRECTIONS:


Bring about 1 inch of water to a simmer in the bottom half of a double boiler set over medium high heat; place the chopped unsweetened and 3 ounces chopped semi sweet chocolate in the top half and set it over the simmering water. Alternatively, place the chocolate in a medium bowl that fits snugly over a medium saucepan with about the same amount of simmering water. Stir until half the chocolate has melted, adjusting the heat so the water simmers slowly. Remove the top half of the double boiler or the bowl from the pan underneath (be careful of escaping steam); stir off the heat until smooth. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk the egg yolks and salt in a large bowl until creamy; set aside.
Place the milk in a large saucepan and whisk in 1 cup sugar and 1⁄4 cup cornstarch. Set the pan over medium heat and cook, whisking constantly, until thickened and bubbling, about 4 minutes.
Whisk about half the hot milk mixture in a slow, steady stream into the beaten egg yolks; then whisk this combined mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining milk mixture.
Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking until thickened, until the mixture coats the back of a wooden spoon. Remove the pan from the heat and slowly whisk in the melted chocolate and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve and into the pre baked crust. Press a large sheet of plastic wrap right onto the filling and refrigerate until chilled, about 4 hours or overnight.
Just before serving, place a large, clean bowl and the electric mixer’s beaters or whisk attachment in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Remove the bowl from the freezer and pour in the heavy cream. Beat with the electric mixer at high speed until frothy, about 20 seconds.
Beat in the remaining 3 tablespoons sugar and the remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch in a slow, steady stream; continue beating at high speed, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula, until the mixture forms soft, wavy peaks on the spatula. Beat in the remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Gently peel the plastic wrap off the pie filling. Spoon the sweetened whipped cream onto the pie, using the back of a flatware spoon or a rubber spatula to make little hillocks and waves. Shave the remaining 1 ounce semisweet chocolate over the top of the whipped cream, using a chocolate grater or the large holes of a box grater.

Chocolate Mint Pie:


Substitute ½ teaspoon mint extract for the 1 teaspoon vanilla in the whipped cream. Also add 3 or 4 drops green food coloring to the whipped cream.


Mexican Chocolate Pie:


Add ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and ¼ teaspoon almond extract to the filling with the melted chocolate and vanilla. Dust the top of the whipped cream with a little ground cinnamon as well as the shaved chocolate.

Easy Strawberry Upside Down
Mother's Day Cake

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Bake Time: 50 Minutes
Ready In: 1 Hour and 20 minutes
Number of Servings: 12


Ingredients:

510 gram (18-oz.) box of yellow cake mix (batter prepared as directed on package)
120 grams (2 cups) crushed fresh strawberries
170 gram (6-oz.) package of strawberry flavoured gelatin
180 grams (3 cups) mini marshmallows

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
2. Prepare cake mix as directed on package and set aside.
3. Spread the crushed strawberries on the bottom of a lightly greased, 58 x 83 sq. cm. (9 x 13 inch) baking dish. Sprinkle the strawberries with the gelatin, and top with mini marshmallows. 
4. Pour the prepared cake batter on top of the marshmallows. 

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 40 to 50 minutes. Cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen, and gently turn the cake out onto a serving platter. Any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator.

Helpful Tips:

Use only fresh strawberries! Mash the strawberries slightly to help release their juices. The gelatin needs this juice so that it is not too tart. If you feel your strawberries aren't ripe and juicy enough after mashing, you can add a little sugar to them and let them sit for 1 hour. 

Raspberry flavoured gelatin may be substituted for strawberry. 

A whipped topping may be used if desired. It is also lovely served warm from the oven with a bowl of ice cream. For extra elegance, enjoy a thin drizzle of chocolate ganache on top. 

This simple, but scrumptious cake makes one of the best Mother's Day gifts. It will surely become a tradition, as she will request it every year!
